No offense, but a date change at 11:45 does not constitute a problem with the watch. Most people would not find that to be a problem, but some people would, and so when you take it to the AD, some ADs will want to make you happy and tell you what your want to hear... That yeah...they'll send it to Breitling to take care of it for you and so some tech there will spend time manually adjusting the time of the date change until it's closer to midnight so that more anal people like you are happy with your watch. I bet if the tech spent another few hours adjusting it, he/she could make the date change at exactly 11:59 to make you even more happy, but that's not the point. The point is that I have several watches that do the date change at all different times...some 15 minutes before midnight, some 5 minutes to midnight, some a little after midnight. None of that means that there's a problem with the watch as the date change time is adjustable and it doesn't mean that the movement is malfunctioning because again...the date change is adjustable.

As long as it does change at some point during the night (I don't sit there at 11:45pm starting at my watch hoping the date will change)...I'm happy. There's more important things in life to ponder over. I bet if you took your problem to another AD, they might tell you that you're off your rocker and a date change 15 minutes early is not a big deal at all. Lol
I also don't think there's necessarily a problem with you or any other picky owners of these watches who want everything to look and perform flawless...you are right...these watches cost a lot, and so why not expect it to perform and look perfect? But again, that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with watch per se...just that it isn't adjusted the way you want it to be (in the case of the date change argument). Cheers.
