Driver8,
I just ran into this thread which started back in November. Look at what you were saying back then. Now you have not 1 but 2 SA's. Quite Humorous !

I know! I like to call it my "Evolution" in much the same way as mankind was once an amoeba before crawling out of the primordial swamp to become the thing he is today!

In my defence I was basing my comments at the time on trying an SA on a number of years previously when the 41mm Omega Seamaster was considered large! I remember thinking at the time that the SA was WAY too big. But then I had a chance to try one on again some time later and found that it was actually one of the finest watches around for the money.

Anyway Ling Man, you know I now love my SA's and I seem to recall I choked down a fair helping of humble pie at the time of my first SA purchase, so you're not getting me to gag down any more! Let's leave these old post where they belong - in the mists of history!!

Driver8,

OK I won't hassle you anymore as long as you hurry up and get the second Bentley. You are now expected and required to have 2 of each model you choose !

Driver8, you're the new poster boy for double double. I wish I could afford double of every watch.. especially the Gymnasium wall clocks.. then i wouldn't have to change the straps all the time! :D

One word.

Stunning.

The timepiece is very popular due to it's size and masculine look. It's not for the weary. I absolutely love the size, and the bold styling. It stands out in a crowd, and in my opinion one of the best looking pieces made by Breitling.

+1

Before I bought my first Ling a couple of weeks ago I thought anyone who would spend more than a couple hundred dollars on any watch was nuts! Then I happened to come across the SA--the rest is history.

These posts are a riot......yesterday.....I took off my White SA....and didn't put on another Breitling....in fact I had no watch on for 30 minutes!!!!! And the feeling .....something was wrong ..... it didn't feel right.....a lost soul......never had these feelings before......so I hurried over to the winder and put on my blue SA......and ahhhhhhhh, it felt peaceful again.....

I guess since I have experienced now what Ling Deprivation is.......LD for short.....I now have found the CURE.......more Lings......lots more Lings.....

Brian,

You better hurry up and get the Super Avenger because soon all you will be able to get is the new model with the stick hour markers and the sub dials in the same color as the main dial. They are just not as stunning as the existing SA. You want the late model before the major changes with the LARGE wings and the Pro 2 bracelet.
