OK guys here we are.... my new addition to "the family", and let me tell you I am very VERY pleased with him! :D

The limited edition Bentley Le Mans! Polished SS case and Speed bracelet, engined turned bezel, blue dial, and 24hour movement.

Only two pictures at the moment as I've literally only just got him today, but to say I am chuffed is an understatement of huge proportions! I really wanted the blue dial model and it's taken me a long time to find one in as good condition as this.

The only downside (and to be honest it's a very small downside IMO!) is that it cost me my Blue Navi World in part-exchange as I couldn't really justify yet another Breitling this year without sacrificing something.

The good news is that while he is just over 4 years old, he appears to have been owned by someone who looks after his watches as much as I do, as he seems to be MINT. It came with absolutely everything paperwork-wise and as the box was the old style version (and the outer cardboard was a little battered) the guy also threw in a brand new walnut Breitling for Bentley box that's usually reserved for the solid gold models!

I think I will send it off to Breitling for a full service pretty soon as according to the warranty booklet it's not been in for one yet and as it is just over 4 years old, I guess he will probably benefit from it.

I'm really loving the fact that while they were limited to only 1000 in total, there are actually only 250 in each of 4 dial colour variants.... which means that if the world's population is approx 6.6bn, there is only one of these blue dial models per every 26.4 million people! (You can probably tell I'm really pleased, so forgive me if I really go off on one about this watch!  )

Anyway, once again I apologise for the rubbish photos, but I'm hoping to get a decent camera soon!

Congratulations Driver 8!!!!!

I had a sneaky suspicion that it might be that - you had pretty much given away that it was a Bentley and you had previously mentioned that you had been looking for a Le Mans.

Really pleased for you - wear it in good health.

NICE WATCH DRIVER8!!! Now that is a watch that I am extremely jealous of. I really want one of those babies... I want the black dialed one, however.

Glad you were able to procure such a beautiful 24-hour watch.

I'll be making 24 club badges at some point along with all the others.. just dont have the time with the paneraisource.com site coming up.

Thanks a lot Admin, I appreciate it!

The black is very cool too (and for me it was a toss up between them), but I think the blue suits the sporty nature of the Le Mans, so when one came up that was it.

(BTW no rush on the badge. I bet the new site is keeping you on your toes).

Congrats on your new family member Driver8. He looks a real stunner.

Carrying on from your population calculation, there are about 1.7 of those models in my whole country!

Thanks for all the comments guys!

@Naviman - I found it with a watch dealer that I've sold watches to (my Rolex and Steelfish) in the past. Took a little while to agree a price for my blue Navi World - but I'm extremely happy with the result!

@Ling Man - The lume on it is amazing. Really bright and so much of it! I compared it to my Motors last night and with all the numerals and 3 sub-dial hands lit up, it looks superb. Once I get a decent camera other than my mobile phone I'll try and do it some justice.

(Also @Ling Man - Sorry but there'll be no diamond bezel going on this baby. The engine-turned bezel next to the polished case looks great as it is, and he's going to stay totally original!)
