What's the difference between the motors t and motors t speed? I've noticed the red in the dial, but is there anything else? Please tell me there's a B01 in it. :D

Why isn't it on Breitling's website?

Kevin

No there isn't and more's the pity IMO. A total and utter missed opportunity. Oh well, better luck next time Breitling, eh?

The differences between the Motors T Speed and the Motors T are entirely cosmetic - a bit of red here, a fractionally thicker subdial ring there........... and that's it. God knows why they didn't just make it a new dial variant of the standard Motors T. But then I guess this idea comes from the same think-tank that thought making a Blacksteel Skyland and then an almost identical Blacksteel SA was a good idea. Or that Space Invader numerals on the Chronomat B01 bezel was a great plan......

The thing is I really LIKE the Motors T Speed - it's just a shame it doesn't bring something new to the table.

Thanks 8,

it is a shame they didn't fit it with the new movement. Oh well, just have to wait for something new. Thanks for the info.

The Speed sub-dials have a chrome circle around them. That's about it!

It's on the Japanese site http://www.breitlingforbentley.jp/products/motors-t-speed/ but the English site always lags way behind.

The bezel is also wider and makes it look even more substantial..! the chrome rings on the dial, red numbers and wider bezel make it a winner (IMHO). I'd trade my Motors for a Motors Speed in three seconds (maybe even 2 seconds)..!

They nailed it.

I have the AD official Bentley Speed brochure at home which clearly states in the copy that the bezel size has been increased. This is confirmed, good-sir...

I deleted my previous post as I just went onto the Breitling site and noticed that it is visibly thicker.... but I guess you obviously saw it before I binned it!

I must be honest it's more noticeable on the Motors Speed as opposed to the Motors T Speed, and I must confess I'm not so much of a fan of it compared to the older one. It looks a bit like the Bentley GMT now, and the thickness of bezel was one of the things I don't like about the GMT. Too bling IMO.

At least the older Motors manages to be fairly restrained (if that's possible in a 48mm polished watch! ). I sure as hell won't be swapping my Motors or 6.75 for a thicker bezeled model any time soon.

Looking at the fitting site, there's no original Motors or T, so I can only assume the Speed models are replacements for the originals. :?

No prices were listed but I would imagine there is a slight increase as the watch was "improved" in appearance (IMHO). If I had a choice between the two, I would buy the Speed, hands down!

Is this brochure online by any chance?
