G’day All,
I’ve dropped into the forum a few times as a guest researching my next purchase (Yellow Emergency is the current favourite) but as I’m calling in a little more frequently I thought it time to introduce myself.

I was introduced to the Brand in about 95 by a salesman that talked me out of buying one of the Tags featured in Die Hard II. Thankfully I’ve matured a little and I no longer seek such advice from Bruce Willis film bad Guys ;-)

My current Breitling line is made up of 2 x Crosswinds :D :D and 1 x Navitimer :x . For the most part I’ve been very happy with them though the Navitimer is giving me a little grief for the second time in less than twelve months.

I’ve added pictures of the 2 of my children with pictures of the third to follow once I remember to forward them to this computer.

I look forward to meeting you all and having the occasional discussion during the quieter moments at work ;-)

Regards

AS

Welcome! Nice watches you have so far, and good luck with the Emergency hunt!

The Navitimer's minute sub dial is resetting at minute 28 rather than 0/30.

It's the second time in twelve months that I've had the same issue with the particular watch so I'm more than a little annoyed that it's back into the shop so soon after the January 2009 repair.

That small issue aside I haven't been put off the brand. :lingsrock:

Weird that it's the same problem - unfortunately with warranty work the tendency is to replace a part and if it makes the problem go away assume that is the source of the issue rather than looking for all possible causes.

Hope it gets sorted out properly this time.

I'll post an update when it's all put to bed.

:welcome: It's always nice to welcome a fellow Aussie. Love the navitimer, definitely my favourite of all the Breitling models.

Hope all your watch woes end soon. It's never a nice experience to go through!

I have the Navitimer back :!:

All covered under warranty and it was back in my hands 6 working days after it was sent to DKSH. :lingsrock:
