Just a note that even my pics accentuate the type far more than the naked eye notices it. Strange that the camera sees it differently. :?

I gather some have issues with the text - I think it's cool.

Great comparison pics of three top dive watches - the Deepsea is a much needed update of the classic design. I need watches with multiple complications, but if I had to have a clean dialed watch, a Deepsea would be high on the list.

The text is the first thing I notice when looking at that....Jumps out way too much for my liking.....but to each his own, just not feeling it myself...

sweet watch mark! i've been considering the gmt c and tried it on...felt like a navitimer on my wrist. i've never looked at the DS but is the size noticeably bigger than C? i would think the DS would feel chunky?

Nice Mark, congratulations. Good to hear you like it (or do we have to see this one up in the selling section soon too?)! I really like to read a post when someone is genuinly very happy for his watch, without exaggerating it. Thanks!

The Deepsea is bigger diameter (43 vs. 40.5), thicker, and heavier than the GMT-C. The GMT-C is a beautiful watch and will likely be Rolex's best seller this year. When the GMT-C goes out to a bar on a Saturday night, it takes the Deepsea along for protection :)
