Hi guys,

Ive decided on a Navi World, white face.

I now need to decide on the strap. I originally thought black but really tempted by blue. The numbers are blue and I wear a lot of blue clothing.

Ive never seen one though with that combo. Anyone got any pics? Ive tried to mock up a pic from the breitling site, but only shows a tiny amount of strap.

Ok I thought, no time like the present, work was quiet.

Went to dealer and they had the white face Navi World but only on a tan strap. Oh no! When I went last time they had it on the black croc strap - SOLD! :(

Anyway, the nice chap found a Bentley with the same size black croc strap, swapped them over and here I am sitting with my new purchase on my wrist. :P The weight of the watch has been counterbalanced by the loss of weight from my wallet!

Decided against the blue strap, a bit feminine I thought.

Typically (I seem to do it on all my watches on first day of ownership) tiny scratch on the case already!

Ill try and post some pics but my camera is not good with close up shots. :lingsrock:

Congratulations - it's always a good feeling to get a new watch.

You'll forgive me for disagreeing on the blue strap looking feminine though...........

Navitimer world all they way, silver with the navitimer bracelet. I seem to see far less silver ones than black. :fulllingclub:

I'm gonna get hung here, but IMHO the world has slightly better build than the smaller navs, although there were bezel rocking issues on some. There were some slightly bigger odd navs, heritage, LE watches etc... come on guys help me out here. My black world was gorgeous, but was always getting clonked. I actually used a red arrows nav for years in a plane, the numbers were way to small , but the other guys REALLY wanted it !

I love my world blue dial on a bracelet!!! Also like the date at three better then between four and five. The regular navi is nice, but I would go world nine times out ten. Congrats ok the new world!!!

I had the same challenge. I tried on both, of course. The Navi seemed to fit nice, and the World initially appeared too large.

I bought both :)

I have since sold the Navi, as the World seemed to "shrink" once I got used to the look at feel. Strange illusion, of sorts, but I really started to see it smaller than I once did. I have no regrets and am very happy with my decision.

If you can't own both, and if you like "bigger" watches, get the World.

Bottom line - make this your decision... and go with what your gut tells you.

I was trying to make this choice as well. I thought the Navi was too small and didn't weight enough. Liked the size of the world but the face of the Navi. I ended up going with the Navitimer Montbillant 47. Good mixture. It will be in next week.

Good luck
