Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and I am looking to purchase the Breitling Super Avenger and I am just doing some research before I buy.

I have noticed 2 dial styles - 1 with the numbered markers and 1 with the batton style markers. Can someone let me know if one is newer than the other?

I am trying to decide between a white dial and a blue dial - does anyone have any feedback regarding the two? Pros... cons...

Great choice in the Super Avenger by the way - a very desirable watch.

The SA is available in both the batons and arabics concurrently.

As far as color choice that's gonna be very subjective. Myself, I favor white simply because I find it easier to read.

The SA is a great watch. Try some on and you'll notice the white dial feels larger than say a blue or black dial. The numbering is just a personal choice. I have not seen the new SA Arabic dial in person but I know the font is bigger. They have pics of them on the breitling website. I think also someone on this forum has a new white dial SA. Here is my SA I got last month. I like the blue dial, with the silver subs, but that's just me. I was going to get a white dial, but it seemed too blingy for me. Anyway, as will be said : one will call out to you.

I agree with white. I also prefer the arabic numbers over the Batons. It also looks sharp on Black / Brown OR, and all leather straps as well.

I am from BC, Canada - does anyone have any recommendations for a good place to buy and what a reasonable price is?

The SA is going for $5090.00 Canadian in some retail stores I have seen in Calgary and Edmonton Alberta and I have been quoted $4100 with taxes in Vancouver BC.

I am looking at options from the USA as well - I was just in Vegas and might purchase from Tourneau. What is the going US price for this time peice?

Personal choice! You can't beat the white dial IMO!

The bracelet for the Super Avenger is the Pro II. You can also put a number of straps on it - calf or croc leather on tang or deployant, Diver Pro rubber on tang and Diver Pro II and Ocena Racer rubber on deployant.

Be careful buying from the US - customs will hit you with both sales taxes and import duty (5%) and a handling fee. I can give you an introduction to an out of province AD (so GST only) that a number of members on here have used that will give you a good price quote for an SA - PM me when you are ready to buy.

If you need a US AD, let me know, but one member from Canada bought a SA from him and got hit with like a $400 customs bill so he returned it and bought from a Canadian AD instead.

Good morning everyone - Thanks again for the great help and advice! Ya... I am a little concerned about buying from a US AD due to the extra hit to the pocket book at customs!

If anyone know of a great Canadian AD, I would greatful to hear from you. If it's outside of BC, I can also save the PST!! WooHoo!
