I decided to buy myself a nice new D-SLR the other day, so thought I'd post up some of the results. Its probably quite an interesting topic to some of you guys so hope you enjoy :D

For those that don't know the show, its the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in the UK.

So its my first proper airshow and also my first proper go with the camera so I know the pics wont be perfect

Resized them using Microsoft Office Picture Manager at first, wasn't happy. Tried again with Photoshop with slighly better results :?

Nice pictures, I too am just learning photography.

Great start!!

Looks like you could have used a circular polarizer though. Oh and get Lightroom, priceless!

Where those taken with a 55-200MM Nikkor?

Now thats more the sort of photo I was aiming at ^^^^

perhaps I should have played about more and cropped em down :? Anyway, damn good show and superb DSLR learning experience.

We spent ages in the Breitling marquee as the weather was so crap. Girls let me keep a lanyard :woohoo:

I rented the biggest lens I could find, the crops are really minimal...

I got shoulder ache using it all day but it was worth it!!
