Hi Guys,

My name is Kevin, I am from The Netherlands and I run http://www.sometimeago.com a hobby website I started when collecting a little to much vintage watches... After a few years I came in contact with a watchmakers that also serviced Breitling watches, but these were just not vintage enough for me... :|

So I did lay my hands on a few vintage Breitling Pieces like this one:

But this did not really got me a "Breitling feeling". It's just another vintage watch.
So then I bought a more recent issued Breitling, this 1988 Colt quartz, which looked really well after receiving a full service from my watchmaker. It also received some NOS hands and full case and bracelet refurbishment.

But it was not a chronograph and meanwhile I got the feeling that that was what Breitling was all about....so the next stop in Breitling was the 2001 Colt chronograph.

And that really got me. :lingsrock: The great finish the massive feel, the detail...but still there was a little problem....it is a Quartz...and it is just not my thing...so it had to go. This also made the first post on this fantastic forum.

Meanwhile I had been buying some chronologs to get to know the different models (I really dig the Spathiographe).. but my search with some extra money in the pocket from the Colt sale, lead to this beauty:

I am really happy with it, love the colour, love the function, love how the bracelet wears. Love ths size 39mm is just right for me. I can's stand the gold-steel combo's Breitling makes so this is perfect steely for me!

I hope to learn a lot here and that interacting here helps me get the Spathiographe in time. A really feel I need one of the Navitimer series in the future...
