What is the general opinion on the Avenger Seawolf? I really like the look of this watch, but reading the specification it does seem to be a 'brute' of a watch and maybe not suitable for day wear. It was obviously designed for functional diving requirements, therefore, has the robust qualities required. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has experience. Thanks.

The build quality is simply outstanding. It certainly is a brute but is very comfortable to wear. I wear mine on a daily basis and can honestly say that is it my all time favourite diver!

I just bought a 2009 Seawolf on an Ocean Racer, and I LOVE it! I wear everyday as my "beater". I wasnt too fond of the old style, but fell in love with the new style. The reason I bought the Seawolf was because my other watches seem too dressy and I wanted a more rugged, less blingy watch I could wear with jeans/ shorts and a t-shirt, at the pool, at the beach. And this watch was perfect for me.

The new Seawolf is my daily watch! In spite of the size, it is very comfortable. I currently have mine on an Ocean Racer strap. It came with the Diver Pro, which I also really like. My next purchase may just be a stainless steel PRO II bracelet for it as well. I find that the large bezel and rider tabs give the crystal and case plenty of protection. I wear mine at work, hands in and out of machinery every day, just a few nics and bruises. I really don't baby this watch, and a few scratches do not bother me in the least.
I was actually thinking at one point of selling it. For some reason, when I got my new Omega, I came to my senses. I also have a couple of leather straps for it, both brown shades. Mine has the black dial. It really doesn't matter what you put on it, the watch looks great! This is one watch that Breitling really thought out. Like my Omega, there really is not a thing about this watch that I would change.
Only thing you might watch for, is if you wear dress shirts, it could be real tight under the cuff. I think it is the thickest watch, after the Super Avenger, that Breitling makes.
The big crown is really great to handle as well.
Cheers,
Carl

My next breit is the Gray dial new Seawolf. I believe it is about the same size (case etc) as my Skyland Avenger. Ocean Racer is the way to go on this...

I can just agree with all the above comments, it is a great watch in every way... a perfect everyday watch that can handle any abuse you might subject it to. I have started to love mine even more than the SA over time(!)

I'm wearing my Seawolf today, it's the older titanium version and it's very comfortable indeed. I love the simplicity of its no frills dial, luckily I have a choice so very rarely wear one on a regular basis but I know that the Seawolf would make an excellent daily wearer and I'm sure the new SS version would be the same.

I have the Yellow Ti and absolutely love it. Very sporty, good for most occasions. Only time I wouldn't wear it is when I'm dressed up, as I have a Chronomat which is more of a formal look. Seawolf is my favorite though, hands down.

I love my Seawolf(TI version) and even though it is built like a tank, it is very comfortable to wear especially with diver pro or ocean racer straps. I wear it everyday and even sleep with it on. No comfort problems. I did a ton of research before I bought my first Breitling and the Seawolf won me over with it's rugged looks and superior build.

Hi Again Guys

Seawolf, eh? New or older model; titanium or brushed steel..................Ya jus gotta have one. They really have what it takes and they'll take whatever ya give 'em. My all time favorite 'day watch', for sure.

Have a good weekend, one and all.

Since I saw your posted pic, I still almost wish I had got a ti model, when they were available. Don't get me wrong, my 09 Seawolf is a masterpiece, but when I see the all brushed titanium it just looks that much more rugged. Mine really does get thrashed around at work at lot, but it does stand the test!
cheers,
Carl

I don't love the SS one, but I'm actively looking for a Yellow Ti one!

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, its a stunner and still remains my favourite piece amongst my collection. So much so, that I purchased a second SS Seawolf, this time a blue dial. Don't walk to the AD, RUN! :lingsrock:
