Ok, so my older brother came to visit from Florida and it turned out to be the most expensive visit of my life . He is a HUGE watch fanatic and lent me his SS Breitling Evolution for a few days. To make a long story short, I grew in love with it and wanted one of my own........NOW!!

I visited several AD in my area and the best most aggressive on price was Govberg in Philly. I went online and started to do some research and found Authenticwatches.com, read their reviews and loved their prices. Govberg admitted they could not come close to Authenticwatches.com's price. After calling Authenticwatches.com and spoke with several different people, I decided to make the purchase. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and pleasant. They instructed me how to wire them money and things to avoid to eliminate any delays. They double checked the watch was in stock and would ship within 24/48 hours after payment is received.

I placed the order on Tuesday June 30, 2009 and went to my bank the following morning to wire the money. I received an email with detailed instructions on how to wire the funds and I worked with my bank manager to make sure no mistakes were made. I called Authenticwatches.com and gave them a payment reference number which confirms their bank had received the money. They instructed me that the watch should ship in 24/48 hours and I was happy with that answer. That same evening, I receive an email with my invoice and thanking me for my purchase with a FedEx tracking number!!! I was stunned and didn't believe it so I went to FedEx's website and confirmed the watch was on its way. You can't beat their free overnight shipping and no tax deal! I just received my watch LESS that 24 hours from my wire transfer was made.

I was extremely nervous purchasing my first expensive watch from an online non-AD. I am glad I did though! What a great experience!! The watch is beautiful (2 tone rose gold strap, Ivory face, rose gold bezel). Thanks and feel free to ask me any questions.

My AD can do better than their prices, and some are just way too high. For example a diver pro strap is listed at $275. I can get for $60-$75 from my AD. Seems high to me. Also unless the price was amazing I would have a hard time buying such an expensive watch from a non-authorized dealer. Also, we all know Breitling's stance on any watches purchased online. Just my 2 cents.

I'm surprised Govberg wasn't competitive. I got a very fair deal. Plus I got a Breitling warrranty and the peace of mind knowing that I bought it through an AD. AND I got it next day. (Ordered it Friday, got it Saturday.)

I'm glad everything went smoothly, as I was considering using this site.
