They may not be doing it in the US, but discounts over 30% are readiliy available. mingtao1 just told you he was offered 25% off local pricing with no track record of buying pieces. The world is bigger than your part of the US and discounts are readily available.

Fear..... Customs would be all over this one....It will not be worth it for you.... I recently traded with someone from the UK, and customs Canada (for the first time EVER) gave me a really hard time; they demanded for the invoice and for the PP transaction
I was lucky I dealt with a PRO and he took care of all the paperwork

What's the point - I'm done with this discussion.

I have one member asking me by PM to buy the watch for them so that they can get access to my discount, and other members denying what multiple other members are saying is the truth.

My usual offer applies:

I can provide a Canadian AD who will give good discounts and has stock. You won't get the same discount as me unless you start buying the same volume as me. I do not get any form of kick back from providing the introduction, and other members here can provide their opinions as to whether it's a contact that is worthwhile. PM me if you are interested, but please don't ask me to buy the watch for you.

They will not ship to the US because BUSA make life difficult for Grigoros (the Canadian distributor).

I will make no more posts on this topic.

everyone says canadian ad's are alot tighter and pricing is better in the states but i guess not

Unless you do a LOT of volumen I think you're gonna have trouble obtaining a 30% discount on the B01 now and probably for the next year-plus.

For one thing, Breitling is going to be tight on dealer pricing because they need to start recouping their investment to develop the movement. That's gonna produce a related strain on an AD's price flexibility.

For another, it's the new new thing and therefore demand is and will be strong. This is a good thing for Breitling afficionados as it keeps the Brand healthy, but lousy if you're looking for a price break.

I say hold off a year or so, wait for the hubub to die down and take advantage of what is likely to be continued punk demand in the luxury timepiece market. You'll get your discount, but you have to be patient.

Then again you could simply bite the bullet....every now and then you have to stow the frugality instinct

yestoday an AD from dallas sent me an email back and offered 20% up front, i asked for more, havn't got answer back yet.

Uh... not sure if this is worth continuing either. But yes, I can vouch that Canadian dealers (at least one in particular) are very wonderful to work with.

they are available here in every combo but the one i need. black face, bracelet, battons, cant find one anywhere.
