Hi guys and gals, does anyone know of a good site that offers info. on military issued Breitlings, i know there were quite a few issued through all the wars to allsorts of people, anyone know of a good site with info. on these.

Hi mate, thanks for that, yep Andrew has an awesome stock and previous editions pics, i'm looking for info. on possibly older models such as the 817 etc, ww1 ww2 and vietnam issue watches. Ive seen a few and they appeal to me these days, any ideas on where i can find info on these older watches.

I don't know of any source, and many black face Breitlings get claimed as 'military' for no apparent reason - especially on eBay.

Breitling had contracts with many countries' military for both aircraft instruments and watches, but not sure how many were actually dedicated models.

If you're not aware of it, there is a forum called Military Watch Resource http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/index.php which I would expect to be your best source of this type of information.
