The K13050.1 doesn't automatically make it an LE - although there are LEs with that reference, Frecce Tricolore had a 100 piece gold LE for example.

I'll email the seller and see if I can get a better pic and ask about the certificate.

It looks like you are right Roff. The seller has a better picture of the caseback and there is nothing in regard to a LE. I checked WUS and found a good example of it and without any reference to it being a LE.

Seller wrote:
The watch is at my safe deposit box in Michigan, I'm at my Tennessee studio/home. There is no number on the back of the watch case. I purchased the watch out of the Dodge Estate at DuMouchelles Auction Gallery in Dettroit, MI. The first thing I did was to have my jeweller ship it back to Breitling for cleaning and examination. Breitling, my Jeweller and the auction house described it as a "One of One Hundred". Total production ended in 1999. All the stats are on the appraisal list. I'm sure you can get all the information you want from Breitling. They have a large site.

I've owned both of these over the years but, alas, don't have them now.

Aerospace USAF Heritage Flight limited edition of 52
Aerospace American Airlines (A/A logo) Don't know how many.

There is also a Blue Angels Aerospace limited edition of 100.
On the Colt Golden Nights parachute team my reference says only 50 were made not 1000.

You can look in the back of some of the early Chronologs to find some also.

Paul

Thanks Paul!

There are still a load that I don't have, at the least a lot of European logo versions, several of the gold ones and some of the Japanese LEs.

I noted in a post last month that there was a new limited edition Aerospace featuring the F-4 Phantom II logo called "Spook".

Delighted to report that Andrew Michaels had the watch on display at RIAT Fairford today

Photo was taken through the glass display cabinet so not the best but shows the design well enough.

Image

It was labelled as SPOOK Aerospace and retail, if I remember correctly, was £2,795 (but don't quote me!)

Can't wait for one to appear on eBay in a couple of years at half the price!

Btw, anyone know what the "47" on the bezel protector means?

Hi, the B1 JSF never had a limited number engraved on the back, does this mean it does not meet your criteria ?

regards swiss

Correct.

With a very few exceptions, LEs have xx / xx on the back. Special editions will have nothing or xx on the back. Even though some logo versions are produced in a single production run they are not classed as LEs and I believe that it is to do with the lack of restrictions on future production runs.

I think that it marks model of the bezel which it suppose to go with.

Can't believe I missed that

I discounted the SS version as it is Special Edition (one year production) and completely forgot the RG.

It's not an LE.

LEs have to be listed as xx / xx, and it isn't. It's a limited production 'special edition'.
