Yes you did read that right - this is the Blancpain 500 Fathoms, which is the new stable-mate to the superb (and on my grail list) Fifty Fathoms.

48mm in diameter, 5 day in-house movement (same as in the Fifity) and excellent lume (check out the last picture below). The only issue in my opinion is that it's made out of titanium. :( If it was steel I'd be a HUGE fan, as I love Blancpain watches, and I think the dial on this piece is superb.

Sorry, doesn't do it for me - but then neither did the Fifty Fathoms.

I agree that Blancpain make some amazing watches, but these ones just aren't my cup of tea.

I like it! But I think SS on a SS bracelet would look way better, though. (I do like SS over titanium as well).

I kinda like it, certinely seems very well executed in terms of finish and layout, but that sun burst dial turns me off. I still preffer the Fifty Fathoms, especially the chrono!

I completely agree, the lume is awesome but I would get annoyed with that dial after about one day. They should keep to the simplicity and elegance of the 50 fathoms styling and just bulk up the watch. Not really my cup o' tea.

I quite like it, although I agree it would be more appealing in steel, and it has that date location I can't stand. :(

I think the dial is striking, but I guess for the sort of money this would cost I could think of many, many other watches I would rather buy.
