wouldnt buy one for many reasons i do find the OP an unattractive watch, chroo is beeter but still wouldnt have one.

then i generally dont like the bentley range exept the comp 19, 29 and D8 Le Mans is pretty nice but think the cases on most look to big for the straps (same as the chronomatic 49) also they are all (edit Mark IV) without question overpriced due to the plat bezel that adds nothing but cost imo (could have doen it better and cheaper) would rather spend the extra ££££ on the internals

Hi Alex, which models are you referring to with platinum bezels? Your statement makes it sound like all Bentleys have platinum bezels which accounts for the higher price? I've never read anything that says my Motors has a platinum bezel?

I love my Bentley Motors Bronze, it was a grail for me, it is still the best looking watch I have ever laid eyes on and I get more compliments on it than any other watch I've owned, from both "watch people" and "non watch people".

To me, as long as the strap/bracelet is half the width of the case, proportions will look good and proper. 48mm case and 24mm bracelet is spot on in my opinion.

No problem Alex, I'll try not to take your Bentley rant personally... ok deep breath, staycalm, (speaking to my Motors Bronze) he didn't mean it, you are still the best looking watch ever made, don't listen to Alex, I'll protect you and wear you with pride. Shhhh, now go to sleep in your green leather case and hardwood leather lined house. :)

Pic to show my Bentley support... :lingsrock:

They have always been over priced.

Now that is definitely true - in many ways it's true of most of the Bentley range, but the Flying B is perhaps the worst example.

THATS MY POINT. 15K RETAIL FOR A NON CHRONO ON A BRACELET IS NUTS, IF IT WAS 8K, AND I COUL DPICK ONE UP FOR 4500 OR 5K IDE OWN ONE, BUT THEY ARE JUST TOO MUCH $$ THE BEST IVE SEEN ONE NEW IS 7495 ON A BRACELT NON CHRONO, GOT ME THINKING....

AFTER I GET A SUPERAVENGER BLACKSTEEL, A WHITE FACE SUPERAVENGER ON A BLUE CROC, A WHITE 6.75 ON A BROWN CROC, THE FLYING B ON A BRACELET IS 4TH ON MY LIST!
