I give the same amount of attention to a celebrity wearing a Breitling as they do for me wearing mine.

I'm not sure what anyone's religion has to do with anything regarding watches!

It's fair game, because calling Scientology a religion is like calling McDonald's a well-balanced healthy meal. Not to mention the fact that we're not discussing watches; we're discussing those that wear them. Therefore, their public lifestyle choices are worth considering when discussing whether they serve the brand well. The more flaky those choices are, the less it serves a brand that proposes to be a no-nonsense, rugged one.

I like the list if only because I am interested to see who else chooses to buy Breitling and it is of interest to see which stars wear what.

I read an article on Beckham some years back and the journalist made a big deal of his watch (a panarai) and how understated it was. I was just interested to know that Becks (a god to me being a life long manchester united fan (and indeed a mancunian)) is interested in good watches and feel I know a little more about his style.

Becks? He doesnt do "understated" does he?

Plus, I'd hardly say that a Flavor Flav sized Jacob & Co was a good choice of watch for men??

Anyway, I thought we weren't talking about religion anymore!

We weren't. We were discussing Hollywood fads for bored rich actors.

Gosh, I haven't looked at this for a while. It was only light hearted, sorry if I upset anyone.

I don't think anyone's upset! Some of us are just making fun of Hollywood silliness.
