Really nice, I love 'em!

I noticed that the lume at 1 o' clock is off center a bit, so we can't distinguish the fakes by that factor anymore

Congratulations, I really like the SOH!

I had the same thing with my ASBS; it was the lume dot at the 5 o'clock position. :?
Breitling quality slipping a bit? :huh

Well Done Nelson, I hope you both have a wonderful day.
For those who do not know Nelson and Shannon personally I can truly say I have yet to me a more lovely, loving couple as them. I know they are going to enjoy the rest of their lives together very much.

That looks great, you have courage. I don't know if I would trust anyone to engrave the case... I'd be too worried that it would be crooked or some sort of mistake. The caseback is a safe bet. I'm glad it worked out and it looks great. Congrats.

Did they remove the caseback to engrave it, or did they do it on the watch?

Yes, that's certainly a great job, especially on the side of the case, which I can imagine would be pretty tough to get right.

The engraver must've been a nervous wreck doing that! But it looks fantastic.

I'm a big fan of the idea of having "wedding watches". Almost makes me want to get married. Almost!

Wow, the engraving came out excellent :wowzers , but I still can't believe that you had the case engraved.

I'm with MarkJnk - it's not that I see a problem with engraving the case, I just don't think I'd have the you-know-whats to let someone try to engrave the case. But then again, I've been married twice, which may explain why I no longer have said you-know-whats.

Congrats again, on the watches and more importantly, the big day!

Looks good! I simply love the SOH46, I think that is going to be my next watch. Congrats again on getting married. I would not want to be that engraver, one mistake and I'd feel awful. It turned out nicely though.

They do it without removing the caseback, though they can do it with just the case back if you like. These guys are professional engravers, not the Key Cutters/Engravers you see everywhere.. Their main business is engraving plaques and golbets and flasks and watches and other types of stuff. They told me initially that engraving on the side of the case is not a good idea.. then she saw the case, and ask me what I wanted on there, and I said Numbers. She said that numbers on the side of the case were the best scenario and would probably be easiest and that she could do it.
