I voted SA. I have one as my daily wear, love it! The SOH, while a classic look, has never done it for me. :lingsrock:

I don't like the SA, never have. The SOHC is a beautiful watch, I just love it. When it first came out I hated the bracelet, but it grew on me and now I want one.

I'm not a fan of the SA as I have said many times. When the original SOH came out I was very disappointed that Breitling had produced something with that bezel - especially as so many companies make a similarly bezeled watch. However it has really grown on me and I think that the SOHC is a very good looking piece.

I like the look of the bracelet more than some people, but not sure that I would buy it - the OR is a great strap.

I voted SA, between those two, that would be the one I'd take. That said, I have a Super Avenger and a SOH, just not the chrono version. Like both a lot. It's up to you of course, these are two quite different watches in terms of style and feel. The SOH to me, feels discrete, understated, elegant. The SA is the full-on, in your face, monster watch. And I love that as well. I'd say you really can't go wrong with either of them. Maybe get a nice white SA first and later on, add a black SOH chrono, that would be a great combo to own, IMO.

SA. Sorry I don't have anything to back my opinion up, but I think that the SA is just better looking than the SOHC. :lingsrock:

I would go with the Black SOHC on croc, this is a very good look for my SOH. I wear it on a very regular basis. I have had a nice Blue dial SA and I just didn't wear it. I am a big guy 8" wrists but the SA is a little to big to "much" for me. To much for a mature guy (me), I think it is more of a younger market watch. Depends what you are going for. Subitle clasic or Bliiiiing. IMHO.

My vote goes to the SOHC. I think the SA is a great looking watch, but the size is extreme, and you really have to be the right kind of person to pull it off, or it can look silly. The SOHC is not a small watch by any means, but just has a more mature classy look to it, and sits closer to the wrist. I wear mine on mesh and it really does look great, has a unique look and has a nice clear clean dial layout. With the non-locking pushers on the SOHC, I wouldn't use it as a water watch, I'd opt for the SA if water was a factor.

Nice watch Mark. I had the bronze SOH and it didn't come off as well as your SOHC. Good looking watch. Ever think of putting it on leather?

Thanks Mark. I've tried it on cognac Croc, chocolate calf, vintage buffalo Enzo, and a speed bracelet from my Motors. Everything looks good on this watch! But I have fallen for the mesh, it is just too comfortable and unique to pass up.

How can you not use the SOHC in water, isn't it rated to 1000 ft.?

My vote was and still is for the SOHC.

The SOHC is WR to 200m, which is the minimum for any recreational diving. I didn't mean to say it can't be used in water, it can for sure. I was just saying that having pushers that are not protected, and not screw-locked pose a risk IMHO, as flexing your wrist in the water can activate a pusher and possibly allow water ingress. If I know I'll be getting wet and doing any kind of water activity, I'll choose a different watch for that day. Maybe i'm being over cautious.
