The date is not perfectly centered in the window on my Colt Auto II. It is more apparent on days like the 10th -19th and I was wondering if this is something that can be fixed at an AD or does it have to go back to Breitiling? I am going to be in Charlotte NC next week on business and if it is something that an AD can adjust, can somone recommend a good AD. I live in Alabama and the only AD listed on Breitlings site no longer carries them. Thanks in advance.

The most likely problem is something that can only be addressed by an authorised service centre or by Breitling directly. If the AD is an authorised service centre then they may be able to assist, but unlikely to be able to do it in the time that you are going to be in Charlotte, so you may need to leave it with them.

Have you used the quick set date function between 8pm and 3am?

No I have never set the date between 8pm and 3am. I read on here to never do that before I even got the watch. Does the Breitling website state whether the dealer is an authorized service center?? Will I need my warranty booklet with me if the dealer is an authorized service center?

You should definitely have your warranty certificate with you - that's what proves that the watch is still covered by warranty.

Service cetnres are listed on the Breitling website.

It may be a simple adjustment, but the fact that you say that it's worse at certain times of the month makes me nervous that something more complicated is going on.

I think it just looks worse because it's the 1 in front of the other letters. You can see both numbers, it just seems to me that it is a little closer to the inside than it should be.......it may just be me, I am kind of picky about stuff like that. Other than that the watch is flawless it keeps great time and the date changes exactly when it is supposed to. Thanks for you help!

So the issue is that the date is too far to the left rather than it's too high or too low???????

That doesn't make any sense at all as the date wheels are the same size - that's definitely not something that can be adjusted.

Can you post some pictures?

Yes it's not to high or low, it looks like it is a little to far to one side. I will try and find a decent camera and post some pics......i'm at work and the camera that I use is junk, I'll try and find a different one and see how it does.
