Omg I noticed it today after being on this forum for months now. on the left side of the main page there is a advertisement for $99 Breitling. :shock:

Does anyone really care about those replica ads? I don't, couldn't care less if they are there or not. I'm here to read about the real thing.

From a personal perspective I'm completely with you on that one, Mark.

But having fake ads here is not a great look considering the efforts that go into removing fakes from ebay (Bnewbie and Sharky, etc), and also noobs who are here to learn about the genuine article might think that we are somehow saying that fakes are OK because the ads are here.

As Roff said, there's nothing we can do about them upfront, but Admin will happily remove them if he knows about them.

I just don't want to put any more work on Admin's plate, this site is already alot of work for him and to put pressure on him to monitor the google ads might be a bit rude on our part. It is easier for us to simply ignore the ads, IMHO.
