I've been following this on German ebay. You guys may be aware of it already but for those who aren't I thought it was interesting and wanted to share.

This is the same guy as Breitling Museum.

If the price doesn't go high enough then he will end the auction early with an hour or so to go - does it all the time. The guy has some nice watches, and I'd love to know where he gets them from, but some very dubious business practices.

Aslo, the vintage pieces are sometimes very questionable, which has to raise a few questions about some of the others.

Will be interesting to see what happens with 7 hours to go. The current bid is over $12,000 with the BIN as bnewbie pointed out of ~$29,000. Quite a disparity.

A question here on this watch. I assume the date engraved into the caseback is the date of manufacture? If so, do you know if all 100 pieces of this series were made on the same day or would it be spread out over the course of say a year?

That's not Breitling engraving - it was done by (or at least for) the buyer - presumably a birthday / wedding day, etc

Breitling likely do produce them (or at least the parts) in a single production run to minimise costs, but they release them over the space of several months.

Maybe.

Wouldn't be surprised if he sold it to himself.

He probably did because his BIN auction is still on and I don't believe that he's got two Rattrapantes.
