Thanks again all!

I just got my aftermarket straps in the mail and I think they will look awesome. The only problem is that I can't get the bracelet off. I ordered a spring bar tool and it's on the way but I still don't see how it can get in there and push out the spring bar. I saw breitlingsource.com's youtube video on how to do it but I still don't get it.

You just push the spring bar with the tool's fork and it will come out.

Update: I just dropped a new strap on it. I know, it's not an original croc strap from Breitling but I just can't pay $400 for a strap then another $300 or so for the deployant. I bought two aftermarket straps (BOB brand, color: tobacco and honey) and a regular deployant buckle for around $120 total shipped. The deployant buckle is ok. The quality of the straps is great!

nice combo....but IMO

no leather or croco strap, OEM or not, even comes close to that amazing Pilot bracelet :lingsrock:

:yeahthat I'm personally a big fan of croco straps (although I'm a stickler for OEM, but can totally understand the cost thing), but in this case I think the Pilot bracelet is the only way to go.

I guess it's nice to have the option though.

Looks like the majority of people think I should stay with the pilot bracelet. That's cool. But I personally like the strap too so I'm going to alternate between the two. I just wish they were easier to come off.

Yea I alternate Blue Rubber strap and the Titanium Pro Bracelet on my M1 Chrono and while the rubber bracelets are a peice of cake, putting back on the Titanium Bracelet is a bear. A good exacto knife helps. Thin and strong enough without damaging the peice. Careful with that.

Just a wild thought, but maybe worth spending $20 on a Bergeon 6767F springbar tool!!!

I've been looking for something like this. I don't change up often but with the right tool. Where can I get one?

Even though I'm in North America I buy things like that from http://www.watchtool.co.uk. If you want a US supplier, try http://www.ofrei.com, though they are more watchmaker than consumer focused.

The only breitling that I always use the bracelet is my Super Ocean and thats because its a mat finish as for the Super Avenger and Navitimer World (although I always buy on the bracelet) I opt for the leather and/or rubber simply because the polish bracelet is a bit too much blink for my liking. The next Breitling on my wish list is a blackbird and I'm for that reason it will end up on a leather strap.

Again its all a matter of choice!!!
