Can anyone tell me if all of the Bentley models should come with the trademark green boxes as standard??

The only reason im asking is because there's so many of the old style yellow ones with black bakelites coming up on ebay with Bentleys inside.

I was under the impression that the dark green outers and dark green bakelites are standard for the Bentleys.

Correct, all Bentley come in the green box, although the one in your picture is the older style. The newer Bentley boxes are again very dark green Bakelite, but in the same style as the newer standard Breilting boxes. Any Bentley you see in a standard yellow and black Breitling box is in the wrong box. The only exception to the rule are solid gold Bentleys that come in the rather superb walnut and leather box, like the one I sold my Le Mans with.

Thought so D8, i've got one of the new Bentley boxes myself but wanted it confirming, there seems to be so many Bentleys being sold on ebay with incorrect boxes.

Thanks mate.

MMMMmmmm baby, my Motors sleeps in one of these wood and leather masterpieces too. I bought it from a member here, it is gorgeous.

They are indeed beauties. In fact I recently bought another one (as I've sold the one I had with my Le Mans) to use as a cufflink / jewellery box. In fact I think they are designed to be used in different ways as the internal piece comes out to reveal a nice suede-lined interior.

It has to be a solid gold Bentley!
