I recently purchased a movado 0605319.
I am not happy with the crystal. It's too reflective.
I should have watched the YouTube vid from this
Site. You can see the camera in it's reflection.
Hard to see the watch face. I am surprised Movado
would have poor design like that. My Oris has a sapphire
Crystal also but the difference is striking.
Please comment if there is anyway to treat crystal
To make it less reflective. Thanks

You can apply anti reflexive coating but that would be pretty expensive.
Better solution would be to buy a watch with double AR, Breitling for instance.

As what BNewbie said, the AR coating would be the solution. I'm not sure what it would cost to have it done though.
My Hamilton X-Wind's have awesome dials and you can see them just fine in person, but when trying to take photos, it is very difficult to get a clear non-reflective shot. (I guess a polarizing lens would help).
I've always wondered about having an AR coating applied to my X-Wind.

I've noticed that some AR coatings result in a much more pronounce "Blue-ing" affect than others though... I'm not sure if all AR coating are equal. I actually had one of mine removed on a black dialed watch because of the excessive blue tone in the light...and all the comment of "what a nice blue dial"
The Breitling AR coatings don't seem to show as much Blue tone as some others...

Let us know what you end up doing and how it works out!
