Great looking watch bnewbie - I'm not a big arabic fan, but I love the font style on that one.

Thanks, Roff.
I wish it's in better condition.

The dial can be restored, although there is always a tendency for the hairlines to return, and the movement looks to be in good condition. The case obviously has some age to it, but it looks like it may only be surface so you may be able to get it restored. The problem of course is finding someone competent to do it - are there many people in Croatia who are likely to be able to work on it?

My main concern is the dial because as you said, the case can be easily buffed and movement is in good condition indeed.
I really don't know anyone in Croatia who is competent or willing to do that work, although sending it abroad momentarily isn't the option.
I'll just enjoy it as it is. :)
Thanks for the observation.

Might be worth keeping an eye out for a replacement dial - they come up on eBay every now and then. You don't have to use it, but nice to have in reserve if the dial does finally fail.

Nice piece, it is fun to see these. Nice for a little diversity. I thought that even if the dial wasen't 100% it was still "better" than a restored one? Any thoughts?

Best,
Mark

Didn't think about that.
Good advice, thanks.

Thanks Mark, I think that Roff's advice on replacement dial would suits me better than restoration as well.

What a beautiful piece. I, too, love the numbers on that one!
