Well after seeing this color on watches a lot in the last couple of years i started to do some research as to why this might be. After finding out what i thought to be the answer I called Omega and a couple other watch companies and they all verified my findings that orange is the last color your eyes can see (deepest depth down) when diving underwater. Makes sense now doesnt it? My question is why hasnt this color been used more on dive watches in the past. its only in the last handful of years that you have seen it used so widely

As a scuba instructor I can tell you that if you are in a place that is dark enough not to be able to see your instrument you always have a light with you. Furthermore the color of the bezel of your watch is irrelevant. All you need to be able to do is see the watch, not what color it is.

Most modern instruments (at least the higher end) have backlights as well. ;)

Right but for timing using your bezel for it thats what they said. Its just the last color that is visible. Your rigth about having a light and what not but it is true haha

Hi Rebnah. not particularly brilliant. 15% off both watches plus a £415 Rapport Duo watch winder thrown in as well. So good but not that good, what do you think?
Are you getting a Breitling and considering and Plant Ocean as well? what Breitling you going for?

Congrats. I love the TT Chronomat, great looking watch. I think the Rose Gold of this Breitling is all the bling you will need. Enjoy them!

Hi Nathan. Thanks for that. yes you are right about the rose gold it does enough to lift the Chrono above the standard finish and has just enough Bling. I thought I could live with the diamonds on the one I was considering, but it was BLINGY.

Yes mate it's rose gold with a Black face and Black Croc strap.
I agree about the diamonds, to much bling for me i like classy but not over the top.
I'm just buying the Omega so i don't have to wear the Breitling everyday.

Hi Rebnah. Thats going to look dead cool. Post some photos when you have it ok. It's great having a choice of what watch to wear, but having to choose with this Omega and the Breitling is really great. hope you enjoy both of them like I am mine.

love the Breitling, I really like the romans! I must admit though the PO is my least favorite Omega next to the modern constellations.bc
