Oooo, the Chronomat B01 looks a bit "messy" there. The big pearl and the large bezel font looks a bit odd against the relative fineness of the dial.

Sorry, but that strap makes the B01 look cheap. Don't like this combo on the picture.

My eyes, my eyes... never mind the rubber strap, all I see is that bezel.

(not aligned, butt-ugly font, no rider tabs and with half a pearl glued to it - do I need to say more? Blasphemy!)

As much as feel like sticking to my guns, I'm starting to buy into the lack of love for the B01 bezel. I'm going to reserve final judgement for the day I can actually hold one in my hands.

I'd agree that the black rubber strap isn't helping.

I've been considering getting the blue diver pro rubber strap to match the face on my SO as I think that will look good.....if anyone has a photo of that combination i'd like to see it.....spose there is one posted here somewhere eh?

Rumors I am hearing put the May 28 release to a limited # of selected dealers with general release Aug 1.

I like the watch except like everyone else the bezel. it looks ok but now on a watch in this price range, oh lord please let them not be going the way of rolex in design! I think the bezel will date very quickly, unlike the present ones which to me have a timeless elegance. Also not on rubber, at least leather!

Larger Breitling dealers should have the B01 by May 28th with smaller ADs receiving the watch a few months later. I think I heard a Breitling rep price it around 7200.

The current chronomat with bracelet commands about a $1200 premium over the rubber one...so if this $6550 number is accurate, we're probably looking at $7700-$7800.

I feel like the design of the watch is trying too hard. It just makes the end product look more like an imitation than the real thing.
