Hi Guys

Is it possible for a SA to have a reference number of a1330bg?

Dont want to trade my awesome chrono avenger for a fake!

Cheers

John

This post has been up a few hours without one of the masters commenting, so I will offer my caution. That seems very wrong to me.I have a black baton dial SA and the ref# is A13370. Yours sounds fake to me. Hold off until the masters respond. :lingsrock:

Well I can't claim to be a master, but I'll put forward my thoughts and say that if that ref is engraved on the caseback, then it's not genuine. The refs can be broken down into parts and are thus made up of a letter (denoting the case material), 2 numbers (denoting the movement), a single number (denoting a Chronometer or not) and 2 final numbers denoting the model. In this case (A1330bg), the "A" represents stainless steel, the "13" shows a B13 movement and the "3" shows it is a Chronometer - all fine so far. However, a final "0" and 2 letters is not consistent with what you would find engraved on the back of an SA.

A1330bg is not a genuine model reference number. As D8 says, the A133 is fine. The final 2 digits should be 70.

It's possible that the seller has misread/typed the ref but lousy photos and a feedback rating of 2 doesn't inspire confidence! I'd ask for a pic of the case back along with warranty.

Or since he's only an hour away, it would be worth driving down there.

Me again - he now says that it is a 1337011/b682 sounds better but what are these extra numbers?

My chrono avenger simply has E13360 in a rectangle and 2058216 below it?

can someone with a black faced white inner dialed sa post a photo of the back of the case?

Thanks in advance to all at Breitling Source.

Regards

John

No 11 doesn't appear on the back but it's correct addition to the Ref#.
It marks a model if the Ref# is the same.
B682 tells that it has black arabics dial.

That sounds spot on and will be taken from the warranty booklet.
