I actually think that strap matches the streamlined and simplistic look of the aerospace.

While Altair and I do not agree on many things watch (eg: his florid and untreated Paneritis), I completely agree with his assessment:

I had a nice Casio about 18 years ago, That had an almost identical starp. I think it was fine on a Casio then.
