Thanks for all your feedback!

Regarding the OR clasp - I would never brush it! Since the Seawolf actually only looks brushed when seen from the front, I think that a polished clasp is the only way to go. And it has been said before and it is worth repeating; that OR clasp is just fantastic!!!!

The Seawolf has also cured my lust for the Rolex DeepSea... it feels just tiny and insignificant. And who really needs to go deeper? ;)

Carl: If you find a nice thick (or even FAT!) non-tapering, Pan-style strap somewhere, let me know - I want a leather option as well.

Hi hnb,
As a matter of fact, I am going to order one in the next couple of days. It is from Vintage Straps, a guy called Micah. I have been doing a lot of research, and checking various sites for aftermarket straps. He seems to come highly recommended and I also found a leather that I really like. Well, I like most of them, but this is the one that is most suitable for my taste. Here is a link to the site:
http://www.vintagerstraps.com/

There are a lot of aftermarket strap sites out there. If you go to Paneraisource.com, which is the Panerai equivalent of this site, same administrator, there is a link to aftermarket straps. A lot of these, most in fact, are for Panerai watches, but of course will fit other watches too. The only exceptions are that some of them only make 24mm as the smallest strap. But Micah has 22mm as well, including buckle.
Probably will take 5-6 weeks, but I will post pics when I get it. The colour I chose is called "Creature" apparently it looks like mud or dirt. Sounds awful, but I think it will actually suit the Seawolf very well.
Mercedes Benz used to have a colour like that on their cars, and I really used to like it.

Cheers,
Carl

Carl, great info on that website! You now have me considering a Stone color for my Seawolf to match the grey dial.

Also, Micah is great to deal with. I just sent him a couple of emails, and always get a response - very helpful. For example, I want a strap with no stitching, and he gave me some other suggestions as well. One is to get the strap "notched", so it is 22mm at the lugs and then 24mm from the end of lugs to end of strap. I am not crazy about that look, but it could work if you wanted the effect of a wider strap. That is the only thing I don't care for too much about my Breitling strap. It tapers down to 20mm, and the stitching is quite a bit in from the edges, so it makes the strap look even more narrow. Otherwise, Breitling makes a beautiful strap. I just think it looks a bit too dressy for the effect that I want.
I will post some pics when I get the strap. Probabl about 5 weeks, though. This is quite exciting for me. I can't afford a large watch collection, but this gives some variety with the watches that I do have. I am sure this will turn out to look great, then I will get more from him later on. The stone colour will look great with the brey dial! You can also get the colour of stitching you like, or no stitching. I was also thinking of red stitching, to pick up the red on the second hand.
Anyway, I have been having lots of fun with this!
Cheers,
Carl

Yesterday I thought that some variation would be interesting, so I put on the brushed ProII. I wore it all day, and I must say that I did´nt like it at all... since I am used to the sparkling polished ProII on the SA and the TT Pilot bracelet on my Chronomat, this brushed incarnation just feels dull.

As any ProII it wears nice and comfortable, but I just cant get over the dull feel of the brushed finish. While the brushed parts of the watch is VERY nice, it just gets "to much brushed". So today the OR is back on! And it will probably stay on, as it looks just stunning.

I am so happy with the Seawolf - what a solid, beautiful, brutal, massive and sturdy watch. Very close to perfect.
(I would love to see a limited edition in rosegold on black rubber, how nice would that be? In my dreams I guess...)

Great photo - each and every watch a beauty!
I put on the Diver Pro strap on the weekend, it is the strap that actually came with my Seawolf. I think I like it better than the Ocean Racer, or maybe at least just as well, or maybe it's just the change. Very comfortable strap to wear all day, too.
I am with you 100% in the feelings about the Seawolf. Just the right combination of brushed/polished, so you don't get tired of either. It does seem that simple black is best to bring out the colour of the dial. I am waiting until I get my leather strap from Vintagerstraps, then I may order a black leather one as well from him.
Cheers,
Carl
