Few pics of my pieces. I realize there's a serious shortage of 'Ling in it, but I'll fix that soon.

First up, PP circa 1909. Family piece, passed down to me several years ago on my mother's side. It's actually what got me interested in mechanical timepieces.

Movement shot. Hasn't been serviced in at least 50 years is my guess, so ignore the grime on the case edge.

And the rest of the family:

Very nice collection.

Not sure if you are aware, but PP will provide you with a document that is an 'extract from the archives' and will give you the date of manufacture, the date it was first sold, etc. It's also a nice piece of paper to have framed as a keepsake to go along with the watch.

Thanks all for the kind words! :D

Roffensian, I've been thinking about having the records pulled, although I'm not sure what all they'd tell me. Probably worth the ~$100 fee to find out, though. Thanks for the advice.

Obviously don't know what the specifics will be, but for a pocket watch the information is:

Type of watch (Pocket Watch)
Movement #
Calibre (the description - something like 18 ligne lever movement)
Case #
Style (Open Face for you plus the case construction type and the material)
Type of Dial (something like Enamel, Arabic numbers, small second hand)
Date of Manufacture
Date of Sale
Remarks (brief comments)

The PP is very nice indeed. Pocket watches aren't really my thing, but that's a nice thing to own.

I also still think the Subbie LV is the best looking watch Rolex have made. If it was a bit bigger and had the newer bracelet I'd never have sold mine.

Nice collection you have coming on there!
