Hello everyone,

I am awaiting a Seawolf in black on rubber, but I find myself looking at the Avenger. I already own two Breitling chronos, a Crosswind and a Navi World. I also have a Submariner, and now I noticed that the Seawolf is similiar. What do you guys think? Is getting the Seawolf overkill having a sub?

Thanks for any feedback..

Not at all, in fact put the two side by side and you will see they are two different looking watches indeed. I currently own a SeaDweller, a Seawolf, a Seamaster and a SuperOcean. Each watch has its own unique features and design that appeal to me. The main thing they all have in common is that they are dive watches. For some reason dive watches smile at me the most.

I see your point, I started to look at the yellow just to have something different, but I have a feeling I might get sick of it. I'll post pics along with my other Breitlings when I pick it up.

Thanks.

Yes, color is a funny thing. I enjoy wearing black often and never get tired of it. I am thinking of buying the yellow face Seawolf next, but I am hesitant for the same reason you gave. I would hate to get sick of it.

I have the yellow seawolf. I actually find the yellow to be a nice change. I don't foresee getting sick of it, I picked yellow because it's different and I like the looks of it.

However it's not an everyday watch for me, more just bumming around on the weekends and casual outings.

I actually looked at the yellow, but didnt like the grey stenciled numbers on the SS model, I wish they had kept them black so it would match a black rubber strap better. You are right though, that color is perfect for bumming around on weekends or at the beach. I'm still thinking of getting one.

Mine is the previous titanium model with the black numbers. I like the new one, but I do like it in titanium better.

I tried on the yellow yesterday, and I must say that it is stunning, but in the end I decided to wait for the black. Should be here in a couple weeks. The AD had to order it, what makes it worse is that there's another AD 2 miles from my house with the black in stock. I have a great relationship with the AD that I purchase all my watches from, so I am waiting. I'll post pics when I get it.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have the yellow and I love it. Don't wear it every day though, so 'familiarity doesn't breed contemptI guess

I agree with you - I really wish it had black numbers on the current model as I just find the grey looks a little washed out and faded. But as is often the case with these things, the grey numbers are slowly growing on me. :)

But the Seawolf in general is a handsome looking beastie.
