Just picked up my Super Avenger today and loving it. Once fitted the size didnt seem as big as at first. I initially thought that I would wait for the skyland but after taking a look at one earlier today I immediately called a dealer who one last Super Avenger and told them that I would be there within the hour to pick it up.

Truly lucky to have found and purchase a Super Avenger (none NHLPA) model all within this week.

Absolutely love this watch..

I got the blue dial on stainless steel bracelet. Once I've figured out how to post pictures I will certainly do so.

Question: Are the body of the watch and the strap both shiny SS or brushed mat?

Both shiny stainless steel. I inquired about brush finished and was told that this is currently the only finish that is available. However, I must say the finish give the watch a distinctive look. I have a SuperOcean with the brush finish and in my opinion dont believe the Super Avenger would look as good with the brush finish. The downside to the shiny look is that it certainly brings added attention to the watch.

This is nothing to do with it being shiny - more to do with the fact that the watch is the same size as a small dinner plate (for small dinners...)

Ok, so perhaps a white dial version could find a place in my (growing) collection then...

Thanx for the info

I had a chance to see the white dial version and for some reason it looks bigger than the blue. So much for a small dinner plate. Here is a few pictures of my blue one beside my SuperOcean

Nice Shots! I also noticed that the darker dial Breitlings do tend to look smaller than the white dialed ones, especially with the really big ones like the SA and the Motors T.

Nice one Jerome, looks like a sweet collection

Must be where I went wrong, The SA I cosidered was a white dial (the only colour I ever go for - but thats just me) Mind you I do also like yellow faces.

Makes me kinda wish I'd had the "jacobs" to go for the SA now :(

My wrist is 8.3" (21 cm) and I think the watch were too big for me ... besides I felt like Flavor Flav with such a huge watch strapped on me

I think a big reason for the SA being too big for many people is the thickness. It is a chunky freakin' watch!

I'm 6'3 230lbs but interesting enough don’t have a big wrist but this watch still seems to fit me perfect. I guess its all about proper proportion.

After weeks of waiting, it seems that i can get this watch! There on "back order" and the only one i can get has an ugly NHLPA logo on it. So after some thought i am leaning to get the new Cartier santos 100 with the metal strap.
