I still love it :)

My first real hardcore dress watch. Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Automatic. 39mm, and thin. Now it makes me want to get the 42mm Chrono version! I'll take pics.. the super-curved sapphire on both sides makes it really cool.

awesome watch Admin!! I really want a pure bred dress watch, as opposed to my sport heritage makeshift dress watches, the Omega Railmaster and Base Radiomir, and that Senator was considered. But since I have 7.75" wrist it was a bit too small, the JLC Ultrathin was also another watch I considered but again, 40MM is too small. I almost wish I had smaller wrists so I can enjoy some of the amazing watches out there. I guess I will just have to pick up one of the newest Reversos.

Anyway, congrats and we need to see some wrist shots!!!

Very nice Admin. Pure dress-watches aren't my thing really (the closest I could imagine for myself would be a Panerai Radiomir or a Zenith Chronomaster), but that is still a very classy piece.

Congrats!

Thanks Guys! I really dig it.. it does wear a BIT smaller than I was hoping, but looks so good poking out from under my cuff.

Its actually a current model, released in 2007.. its just called the senator sixties, it is a remake of an old vintage model.

I've got to admit it's the first Glashutte Original I've seen...and I like it! Bet the chrono version would look classy as well!

Congratulations Admin! Looking forward to those wrist shots :D

I love those Nelson, really classy and retro, I can't wait to see it in person!
For me it is even more exclusive than Patek! Well done my friend!

An understated, elegant watch -- perfect for dress (or any other occassion,
for that matter). Like Altair, I'm cursed with big chunky wrists, so I just can't
wear a smaller piece. But it looks great on you. Wear it proudly! :D

I just saw that exact model in person and WOW it is nice! I was thinking my next watch was going to be an IWC, but having seen some Glashuettes I am now rethinking that. Their Senator line is just amazing.

I finally took some time to take pics of the watch with my dSLR, but unfortunately there was tons of dust in the lens (notice the black dots all over the pics lol) and I still have not perfected the art of taking photos with it yet...

Very classy looking watch. The display back case shows off the movement very nicely. I can't help but think how much Breitling is missing the boat by not offering more display backs with their watches. :?
