Driver8,

Naviman took the World in and got that second time zone fixed, got a thorough polish job and got it back within a month from the guy we use here locally. He wears the SA most of the time though. Business is good for us due to the nature of our business. I'll be around here often again so get ready to get HARRASED.

I won't let you down and I see a lot of
"Strap" discussion going on here, yellow and red dialed Lings and other very serious Ling offenses. These newbies need to be educated on the Sacred nature of bracelets and other basic True Ling Man RULES !

Hey Ron, you have any input on my theory that the OEM bezels' prongs may be cast with the bezel?
Hi, RJ. I strongly suspect your theory is correct but I'll ask my area B rep if he knows any more detail...
Cheers,
Ron

I'm waiting for my newly ordered SA to come in. I am doing an aftermarket diamond bezel since the OEM is a complete rip. About 4~5 years ago I bought a SA at Torneau in Vegas after a large run at the tables. I paid $7500 for a Black dial, black leather, with Diamond Bezel. Recently I tried to buy a white dial with Gold croc and the price has skyrocketed to $13k (before knocking them down). That is utterly ridiculous. I never sell my watches, I hold them for life, so resale doesn't bother me. My very close friend is a professional jeweler and watchmaker so they can switch the bezel when I need warranty service. SO..

What is the final verdict on buying a bezel for a SA? I want it to look IDENTICAL to the OEM (Double row, 1.2 ~ 1.5 ct weight, 80 stones). I like the double row, and I want all of the minute markers in place. Has anyone heard of "Rite-time" an ebay seller??

THANKS. PM me or posts with answers would be great.

Basically you will struggle hugely to get an aftermarket bezel that is identical to the OEM version, purely because of how they are made. Personally I'd say that if you want diamonds OEM is the only way to go, but that's just me......
