After being here some time, and read a lot of info, I just still can't understand why so many love it and think of it as the best Breitling watch today, and that I should get it
Can some one give me some nice info and point of view about it ? :?:

Thank you :)

Alot of people are obsesed with size, having the most size per $ it has a following. It does not do a lot to me.

I like a lot of the smaller sized watches like the Datora on leather more than the SA. But i'm not compensating for anything  JUST KIDDING people :!:

Yep well the size is the most known thing of this watch, but what about other things ? like build quality? finish? movement? and so on ?

I don't understand the fascination with the SA either. The movement is the Calibre 13 (so that's the same as the Chronomat Evo, the Skyland, the Chrono Avenger, the Chrono Cockpit, etc), and the build and finish are just as good as every other Breitling out there.

I think people mainly love it because of the size and the fact it's polished. (More bang for your buck and all that). I'm sure it's a perfectly fine watch but it just doesn't do anything for me. (But then watches always are a very personal thing).

Very true, watches are a very personal decision. I for instance can not believe someone would take the SA over a Chrono Evo, just as others think I am nuts prefering Navitimer on leather. Which is why I am concerned about the constant propaganda around this "FULL LING" ordeal spearheaded by my good friend (B)Ling Man  In fact I am starting a new group, the PRO CHOICE Affirmation Comittee for the Preservation of Breitling Owners Right to Choose, the PCACPBORC! (The name is a work in progress)

Whos with me? Hello? Is this thing on?

I hate admit it, but it's basically the attention whore watch. Despite only being slightly under $4 Grand USD, it has a ton of wrist presense and many onlookers when passing through the public eye. Again it gets probably 100x more attention than my Montbrillant Olympus, despite the MBO being almost double the price of my SA. But, somedays I feel like a change is needed so I switch back to my MBO to feel normal in public.

PS - I also have a diamond bezel for my SA, so that pretty much is the showstopper. I wouldnt' wear it though the Manhattan subway system for obvious reasons.

PS #2 - Also unlike practically all of the Navitimer Line up, you can take the SA swimming with you, since it is water resistant. When I went on vacation with my MBO, it was pratically in the safe the whole time, (with the exception of wearing it out to dinners) since swimming with the Navitimer can fogg up the dial.

I would not wear a diamond bezeled SA in a church full of nuns let alone a subway

One word.

Stunning.

The timepiece is very popular due to it's size and masculine look. It's not for the weary. I absolutely love the size, and the bold styling. It stands out in a crowd, and in my opinion one of the best looking pieces made by Breitling.

I have just as many people notice my Montbrillant Legende and my Bentley as they do the SA, but yeah... the SA is definately your best bang for buck when it comes to large scale Lings!

That's exactly why I got my diamond bezel, since the SA is a good bang for your buck, I didn't want to run into someone with the exact same watch as mine.

Today I was able to see the SA for the first time, one word...awesome!!
That piece stood out in the the case at the AD. It looked great on my wrist, and compared to most on this forum, smaller than everyone else's.The SA is next on my list!

Trust me it looks small on my wrist too. I think the only person that would think the SA is average on their wrist is a NFL Linebacker.
