While looking around at some Breitling models at a local AD I tried a Super Avenger and it looked to me like the crystal was like a dome not flat like the Skyland. Is that possible? I believe that the only differences between the Super Avenger and the Skyland is that the Super is bigger and heavier than the Skyland, in essence they are very similar, correct me if I am wrong, thanks. :|

All modern Breitings have a domed crystal. The curvature is a little more noticable on some models than others.

Well, the SA has never had the stencil style numbers, but that's not really that big of a deal...it's not my style, (I'm a SA stick owner) but I think it gives the skyland quite a different look...other than that, and the aforementioned size (and price) there's not much difference! :lingsrock:

The price of the SA was only $50 more than the Skyland at Tourneau, however I don't see the domed crystal on my Skyland!

Colts don't have it, also Emergency, Aerospace and Airwolf.
Not sure about Skyracer.

hmmm, I stand corrected. I was under the assumption that all the modern models, big and small, had some curve to thier crystals. I did, however, just check my wifes Colt Ocean II and it does NOT have a curved crystal. Learn something new everyday. :)

I thought I was loosing my sanity, but my Skyland's crystal is flat, doesn't have a curvature, however the SA domed crystal is a nice variation.

The skyland definitely has a domed crystal. It may not be an pronounced as the SA, but its definitely domed.

I just confirmed that my wifes Starliner is domed. And all of my Breitlings are domed as well.
