That copper dial with the croco strap is - WOW!
One of the best looking dials around.
Cheers,
Carl

I agree with the above. Copper on croco is stunning. The Le Mans IMO is easily the coolest ling out there. :lingsrock:
Congrats.

Thanks again - for the moment I think it will be worn for some days in a row... :)

I'm happy for you but I'm getting ready for a tantrum unless I can find a decent black dialled one...

Do Blowers not still have the one that they are advertising (it's been referenced here a number of times)?

This is such a beautiful watch, I really love the bronze dial.
I am fascinated by the 24 hour dial, does it take long to get used to it. The hour hand makes sense but I think I would get lost occasionally with the minute hand. Am I right in thinking in your first shot the time is around 1.30pm?
It would be something I would be more than willing to get used to though, I love the look of the dial both on the Bentley and Breitling versions. I think If I ever get another watch I would be sorely tempted to get one with the 24 hour dial as I just love what is behind it in thought of function.
Love the croco strap, it is perfect for this watch I think!

I spent like an hour trying to figure out the 24 hr. dial a few months ago. Never did  .

Sick watch man. If it takes 3 years to save, this will be my next.

Correct.

It actually doesn't take too long to get used to at all. The way to think about it is that the minute hand moves exactly like a regular 12 hour movement - i.e. once around the dial every hour. The hour hand however, only moves round the dial once every 24 hours instead of the regular 12 hours.

In actual fact it makes more sense IMO than the regular 12 hour dial! It's a great curiosity to have. I can well recommend having something with a 24 hour movement - I certainly love mine!

Not sure why HO. :huh Ian Blowers are good guys, and the fact that Roff parted with a not insignificant amount of cash to obtain his from them............. well, I can't really think of a better reference to be honest.

Still, I guess you have to be 100% about a transaction before dipping your toe in. Good luck with the hunt.

As Driver8 already said, it is indeed 1:30 pm. I think it doesn't take very long to get used to a 24 hour dial. As long as you can accept that the minute hand moves "normally" while the hour hand doesn't, it's fine. I thought a while back it would be nice to have one 24 hour dial in the watch box and then ended up with the Cosmonaute DB. Then it didn't take very long before a 24 hour Chrono-Matic joined and now the Le Mans. Hmm, so instead of having one it now seems I have three...

And I would do it again - extremely good experience.

Awesome, just awesome. That watch is super sexy with the brown croco strap. Congrats on the puchase.
