Greetings! Let me admit that I'm such a rookie when it comes to Breitlings, it's embarassing. I recently graduated from a Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chrono to a Panerai Base Logo. It's a very nice watch, but now I'm in love with a Skyland Avenger that I saw at my local AD. I stumbled across this forum via YouTube and I must say that you guys are on top of your game. Clicking thru the gallery section I saw a few Avengers sporting red Ocean Racer straps. I think it looks absolutely gorgeous on Avengers! I gotta have it! I plan to get an Avenger in the next few months. I have already phoned a few AD's in my area (Washington DC) and I was told that they are now discontinued. Does anyone know of an AD or private owner that might have one left for sale? If so, I would like to get my hands on it. Thanks for your help.

They (the red OR) are discontinued, as Breitling had some problem with dye bleeding. I doubt you will find any at an AD, so your best shot is either ebay or trying to convince In2Deep or andrew692003 to sell theirs (if they still have them).

Yeah, they were only available for literally about 3 weeks. They first appeared with the first 08 pieces from Breitling SA, and they had been pulled less than a month later. My AD only had one (which I bought and sold) and there aren't that many out there, which of course dictates the market.

Sure... but mines a 24mm so it would be for the Super Avenger

I have been trying for weeks to find a Red OR for my SA but it's a no-goer I'm afraid! Good luck on the hunt tho.

Yes it is! Not the best pic tho, I really need to get a few more shots taken with the new camera and a lightbox. I seem to be wearing the AS with the black OR at the moment tho. Thats not to say I don't like the Red OR but there's certainly something about the Skyland on the Black OR.

Can't be that bad Mario - I sold mine for C$500 and you dropped some not so subtle hints at the time that you thought that was excessive.

Isnt that about retail? I think we pay US$410.
