I did my once a month cape cod followed by sunshine cloth polishing routine last night and when done I looked at my watch under artificial light, first a normal lamp then an LED flashlight(torch for fellow Brits!) Under the flashlight I saw thousands of tiny scratches and thought oh no I have buggered the finish up!
Today, under natural light there is not one scratch, it looks just like it did right from the AD!
It would be interesting to see a brand new watch right out of the protective film under and LED light to see if it has lot's of tiny scratches!
So, the moral of the story, only look at your watch closely under natural light
PS, I use the sunshine once a week and the cape cod once a month!
