Could somebody advise me if the 2009 Seawolf is different to the 2008 model please.

I have seen a few pics on this site recently and the face looks slightly different to that in my 2008 catalogue.

It looks as though some of the numerals have been replaced by markers ... it looks very 8)

Do a search on the forum, there is plenty info about this.

In short - the case has become stainless steel instead of TI, it has grown a few mm´s, and the dial has got stenciled numbers and some huge markers. To me it is all good news...

Thanks for that - agree the changes are excellent.
You will have to excuse me, I am new around here & just discovering "LING"
It is quite exciting, but looking as though this new experience could be quite costly !

No excuses needed!

And yes, it can become costly to browse these forums, they affect your rational thinking sometimes.
But it is all good...

I didn't even like the 09 Seawolf when I just saw the pics after it first came out. After I saw it, though, I had to have it. Now I do own one, and it rarely leaves my wrist. Even one of the guys who works at my AD, who got a new Skyland last year, is starting to like the Seawolf more. I have only seen the black dial, which I have, but from what I have seen and read on this forum, all the dials look amazing.
Also, it seems like any strap or bracelet looks good on it. I have seen it with the PRO II, and mine had the Diver Pro when I bought it, but had them put on my Ocean Racer, which looked even better, and now I have a brown leather strap on it. It is a big, and very heavy - I believe the heaviest Breitling - but it is amazingly comfortable.
I am not a diver, but for some reason I love the fact that it is water resistant to 10,000 feet. The dial is big, simple and very easy to read.
After over 10 years of wearing my SuperOcean constantly, I was looking for a new one last year. I ended up getting a Steelfish, then kept looking and got an AS Blacksteel, and still kept looking. Then the Seawolf came out, I got it, and am no longer looking. Actually, let me rephrase that: I am always looking at watches, all makes and models, but I am no longer looking for a watch that I wear literally all day, every day. One of my favourites has always been the Blackbird, and my AD got a brushed one in which I saw today. I cannot afford it now anyway, but I like my Seawolf better.
I don't know what else to tell you, other than this personal story.
Cheers,
Carl

Appreciate your comments Carl.
It's great that you are so pleased with your seawolf as that certainly does encourage me.
I need to give this some serious thought.

seawolf and 'preloved' aerospace out the budget????...lots of older style aerospaces pop up on various auction sites from around 5-600 squid, add in a service and its all a bargain!

It is to be honest.
For now I need to choose one or the other.
In time I may be able to acquire another.
