I wonder if Breitling Canada actually keeps any watch parts in stock, or do they order them on the fly
from Switzerland?

Its been almost 4 weeks now and I am still waiting for the new crystal for my SA to arrive from
Switzerland..... I am also waiting for new hands for my EVO...
WHATS GOING ON?

They're probably growing the crystal!

I have never had any problems with getting parts, but in a relatively small market like Canada it's not uncommon for less frequently used parts to not be stocked - the cost of maintaining stock will increase the overall servicing costs. That works well for parts that can be readily sourced from the US, but as Grigoros source from Swizerland, not BUSA it becomes more problematic.

I'm not surprised about the crystal, the hands are a little more of a surprise as that's a service item.
