Either way, I think you made a good choice with this one.

Congrats on your new watch, but I've got to disagree with your comment that the Speed bracelet on any of the others is "flimsy"! I don't think Breitling would even know where to start building a flimsy bracelet!

The bracelet on this watch is great, like all Breitling bracelets its not to the level the Pro2 is,that is the best watch bracelet period, but it is slightly better quality than the flimsy Speed they put on the 6.75 and Motors.

Isn't that also a Speed bracelet with a different clasp?

The GMT's bracelet is called a Speed, but it's not the same on account of the integrated nature of the GMT model. The GMT's is wider at the head, but tapers much more severely than the original Motors Speed. The GMT clasp is actually identical to the newer clasps on the standard Motors.

Knew that, just expressed myself wrongfully. :D

When use to the Pro2,the Speed on the Motors is indeed flimsy in my hand, once use to it i'm sure the view is different, the bracelet on the GMT is indeed different from the Motors.

OK, I guess we're just going to have to agree to slightly disagree on this one. :)

I own watches with both the Pro II and the Speed (and one on the Navi bracelet) and I've spent some time handling a Bentley GMT, and the word "flimsy" has never entered my head when handling any of them....... but each to their own.

But congrats on your new watch.

I see what you are saying, I dont really care what people thin but I just dont find overly large watches comftorble to wear. My preffered range is 44-46MM. I will go a little smaller (no less than 42MM such as my Railmaster) or a little bigger (48MM such as my 6.75) but I think that as gorgeous that watch is and as much as I like its features it is a bit too large for me.

Toghether with the Chrono-Matic 49, yes, if you talk about diameter.
I dont think it is the heaviest or thickest one though...

Anyone knows which ones who win those medals? My guess would be the SA at 18,6 mm thick, and the Seawolf at 159.2 gr heavy.

Dave, any chance you can measure your wrist (Using a tape measure) and get back to us? It would give us a better idea of how the GMT wears.
