...Colt Auto II. I made up my mind three days ago. Two days ago I ordered it at my nearby AD, yesterday it was already delivered and I left my office very early. Tonight I took some hasty pictures. Got home and caught the last dusky light of the evening... Since I don't like watch images taken with flashlight, the pics are dull and pale. But here we go, for me the nicest watch I've ever owned (ok, maybe besides or only slightly ahead of my IWC Ref. 3228 - but that's another story...).

Will post some nice wrist shots soon. I am extremely in love with this one. Perfectly nice looking, rugged watch for quite little money... Within my preferred diameter-range of about 40mm. I am absolutely stunned! I haven't been so stunned after I purchased my Rolexes, IWCs and Omegas in the past... I don't have any more words... :-) Great lume by the way. Regarding accuracy: Just fine: +/-0 sec/24h. Perfectly regulated for my wearing habits. Great watch!

Congrats on your new additions.
You'll love that Colt, great watch.
Mine also runs +/- 0 after regulating.

Congrats on the pickup, the silver dial looks good on the brown leather strap.

Great looking watch! As the others have said, the brown strap looks great on that watch!
Cheers,
Carl

Congrats, wear this beauty in good health! But pleeeeease don't tease me with those normal-size wearable watches - you know I'm one of the crowd wishing more fine "Half-Lings", say, 38-40 mm, e. g. a SOHC with day-date, wearing right now my Chrono Cockpit :D
Best regards from beautiful Budapest: Robertus

@Robertus: I had the CC and I don't like big watches either. The Colt II is very well wearable for mid-size and smaller wrists, mine is 6.7 inches, rather slim too. In short words: If you like the size of the CC, you also love the size of the Colt II, it has a slightly larger diameter (but is about 2 mm less in height) and differently sized lugs compared to the standard Superocean or the time-only Cockpit. The Colt wears much "flatter" than all the other Blings. The upper diameter limit for me is the size of the Colt II (41 mm), of course I could wear a Steeflish too, but - again - I don't really like watches > 42 mm.

Thanks, guys, for your nice replies. Wrist shots will follow. And yes, the dark brown strap looks great (!!!) with the creamy-silverish-"cardboardish"-colored dial (actually it's not simple silver).

Such a great watch!!!

V.
