You guys aren't trying - I think the Zeno would look too small on my almost 7 3/4 inch wrists - (they would also look hideous, but that's something else entirely).

Now this one on the other hand....

As plain as it is it still looks better than a Panerai or a Bell and Ross

You'll get no arguments from me on that score.

If this is the 60th anniversary piece I can't wait for the 75th

My memory may be failing me, but wasn't there a 60mm U-Boat a few years back?

Just to throw a slightly differing opinion in on this one, even though I own an Navi World (46mm) and a Steelfish (44mm), I still personally think the SA is a step too far.

Blasphemy!

bgsl,

I am only 5'6" and 150 lbs. My wrist is only 7". I think I qualify as a small guy wearing a big watch. My SA is a white dial as well. I get nothing but positive comments, and lot's of em'. Go for it! You will love it!

I love my other Lings and especially the Bentley but I have to say that the SA is clearly the most satisfying Ling. If you are a Ling enthusiast the SA delivers the most bang for the buck by far. For anyone that is getting ready to get their first Ling I highly recommend the SA and once again the seemingly HUGE size is something you get used to in a matter of hours. Even if you pay full retail for an SA you are getting a Hell of a lot of Ling for the money.

You almost have me convinced now! At 5'8" and 160, I hope .5" less wrist would not make much difference. Even with the white dial.

You're like the little conscience devil sitting on my shoulder telling me "do it! do it!"

Just a note of info I picked up at that Breitling dealer event. They told me that all Breitlings are slated for a 10 to 15% increase near the new year. They also said that the SA is fast becoming the most sought after model and WILL increase in value. Especially if you buy before the price increase!

bgsl or anyone else listening,

Do whatever you have to do to get the SA. If you haven't saved the money, put it on a credit card, if you have no credit card borrow the money, if you can't borrow the money STEAL IT just get the SA. Read Chance 97's post it's an investment now.

There is no place for "moderation" on this board. Around here we want EXCESSIVE/OFFENSIVE Lings !
