dwindled my collection down to just 3 keepers.
(Planet Ocean, Super Avenger and ?)
the 3rd was to be determined but thanks to my Canadian brutha Mark J, the decision was clear.

just received today and it is stunning.
the blue is much nicer in person than any picture could depict.

* these are quick shots... was too excited to get it size and on the wrist and still had
to get work done at the office to go all out on pics, sorry.

** 1st pic shows the dial color the best

Congrats Steve! The blue looks great. Funny how the light can play trick when taking pictures of these watches.
The Herc club is growing!

thanks guys for the compliments.
I am very happy with this one... lume is great too, much better than I have seen on
other Lings that I have had.
I think for what I paid, I got a heck of a bargain on such a fantastic piece.
too bad Breitling did away with this model.
I think what sunk it was the integrated bracelet and no date but for me, that doesn't matter,
I just like the look and feel.

and yes Chris, its hard to take shots in my lab at work...
the blue is so darn nice in person.
i was reluctant as heck to go with blue as I thought it'd be dark or navy but its surely not.
LOVE IT.

Great watch Steve, glad you like it. I'd feel a bit guilty if you didn't love it after me raving about it so much. The blue is really nice, almost nice enough for me to buy a blue watch

Beefy bracelet eh?

Agreed the lume is very crisp and bright, there just isn't alot of it. Mine glows all night, no problem. I think they really goofed when they neglected to lume the tip of the chrono pointer... they painted it white, they could very easily have lumed it white. All the subdial hands are lumed, but the sweep isn't, doesn't make sense. :?

Still a favorite in my collection.

Good pick-up Steve, it looks to be in great condition and it looks good on your wrist. The Herc is growing on me, I must admit.

I have not seen one of these in person, but it certainly looks intriguing. What is the function of the 9-oclock subdial? 2nd time zone? Thanks,

Mofongo
