Hi There,

I just watched the fake evo video on youtube by the Breitling source owner and I must say it does look very original.
I noticed though that on my Evo it has the certified serial number on the rear of the case that corresponds to the yellow certificate I have when purchased from AD.
On the fake I only saw the identification stamp eg: A13..ETC.
This fake must be quite pricy but why the hell would you spend so much on a fake breitling!
I would like to know what the owners(breitlingsource) thoughts are on these fakes and what other errors are there on the fakes that they cant copy of the real deal.
i COULD NEVER WEAR A FAKE..could you?

I have wore a fake Ling in the past, and I was called on it. It was unquestionably the most embarrassing moment in my life to date, I will never do it again. As the wise saying goes, "If you can't afford it then don't even try it, only person you are fooling is yourself." In my opinion this saying goes with not only people that buy on credit, but people who try to wear replicas and act like they are the shit. I.E. This kid on my campus, that had a Ralph Lauren Rugby Shirt, Evisu Jeans, Bathing Ape Sneakers, and to top off all of that a fake mutent Breitling Bentley Mulliner Turbillon/6.75. I literally couldn't get that image out of my head and was laughing all day long.

I will never wear a fake watch now, but i have friends that do. I don't judge them for it... I've done it before too.

I am sure Breitling could pursue legal action on known replica producers, but I don't think these firms are listed in the yellow pages exactly! China (undoubtedly where most 'faux' luxury goods are produced) also has a very lax stance on bringing action against these 'businesses'.

As an aside - I know that some of the better investments in China to make are more of the 'commodity' based U.S. businesses as opposed to IP/software/technology companies. You can't pirate a cup of coffee (think Starbucks) whereas you can buy a hacked version of MS Windows for 5 bucks (about as much as the Frappuccino costs).

FYI - I did have a pair of fake Oakleys once... but the RayBans are real!
