Hi

Im new here!

The '30minute' rider on the bezel of my Chronomat has popped off.

Even though the watch is only 1 year old, i would expect that this shouldnt happen, especially when i dont wear it in the shower or pool etc.

I have spoken to Breitling who said it is not covered under the watches warranty.

Has this happened to anyone before, and if so can they give me any inidcation of prices to get it fixed, as all of the dealers i have called have been unable to give me an indicative price.

Cheers in Advance
James

Welcome to the forums!

If you go see your AD you might be able to persuade them to cover it under warranty - they don't want to lose a customer for a small issue like this.

That said, if you do have to pay, these things are not cheap - if I remember correctly they are around $50 or so - crazy I know. The 'good' news is that the 12 o'clock rider tab is twice that because of the lume dot!

Hi Thank you for your help!

Unfortunately i live no where near i bought the watch so i have to use a different AD in London.

I would expect to pay anywhere between £50-£100 to include parts and fitting so im not too disheartened - just a bit dissapointed its come off and is only 1 year old - especially as i am super careful with it.

Hey ho - as is life!
